To be fair I've forgiven Bostock. Ultimately there was no winner in all that happened, with the biggest loser being Bostock himself. I can confirm that he has remained a palace fan throughout. Is he good enough? I don't know but he clearly has something. With punch getting older it could be a good shout but only if he's actually good enough. Loan spells at English clubs suggest he isn't but then again, puncheon was a journeyman himself until he really got his head down.

The level he has been playing at is pretty much lower championship / league 1. It would make a nice fairytale the return of the prodigal son, but I just can't see it happening. He hasn't progressed at all.

Exactly right. Could be a fairytale but harsh reality is he isn't good enough. Those who 'advised' him, mostly that crook Mickey Hazard should hang their heads in shame.
