How many times has BFS taken over a clu in a little bother, get them safe, then after giving that club a mid-table mediocrity, moved him on? The question is, will Palace follow the same pattern.
The common chant from BFS previous clubs is he does not seem capable of taking a team any further forward in playing style, at least a style to better the team. Something often gives,,will it happen again and soon?

If he makes us a stable, boring mid table team for a couple of years, good. It's exactly what we need, maybe not what the fans want.

But, he has done and had a few exciting seasons.

This was once a quality forum....

This is total rubbish, SA took Bolton from obscurity to the UEFA cup. He left because I think the owners did not have the ambition to take the club forward. (Look where they are now.)

He got West Ham promoted, then to mid-table. He was always going to lose his job to the world-cup-winning supporters they have.

He left Sunderland to manage England.

I think he is capable of achieving if everyone buys into his ideals. We seem to currently be doing that. West Ham definitely didn't. Sunderlands squad was/is nowhere near good enough, Newcastle hounded him out when he was actually doing ok there. Bolton punched way way above their weight when BFS was there. I think with the players we have, backed in the transfer market, with support from the entire lub. Could be exciting times ahead.

Not everybody is deserving of respect, not even everyone who serves as Palace manager (see threads passim). I don't see how you can argue that Allardyce isn't, though; at least, not now.

Is it possible to keep your nose out of a public fan's forum or did you expect your post to be a secret?
I have a little more respect for a manager who has performed incredibly in keeping us up.

Your right, they have. The general consensus on here, is that they are ignorant and disrespectful.

Yes under twelves tend to have that right. Poking at someone's physical shape has been tired for quite a few years.
