I love when we support and don't complain I love that we didn't laugh at Hull for going down. It was "We're staying up!" I think we are great.

I heard that Chelsea were singing "Premier League, you're having a laugh" and "you are going down" to the Middlesbrough fans the other day in the game that near enough won them the title. They are a disgrace if true. Conte seems to be the only man with any class at that club so will soon be sacked. I was really glad that there was no "Can you hear the Hull fans sing?" or relegation chants from us. If it's Brighton or West Ham fair enough but I don't understand the obsession of enjoying other fans misery if their team aren't a rival. I don't think there was any ill-feeling between the 2 sets of fans after the game and it was just bad luck and a terrible performance against Sunderland that meant we had to relegate them. I'd of preferred a Palace win and Hull still having a fighting chance on the last day - but beggars can't be choosers in these situations!

I've heard Barry Venison thought the dignified way we behaved was mustard.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Indeed. Hull didn't get relegated because they lost to us and had they not they would have been relegated next week when Spurs came for tea and buns. They were already running on vapour at the start of the season with inadequate preparation, underinvestment in the squad and a pi$$ poor performance from Bob Bradley compounded that. Silva gave them a fighting chance but with Swansea and us turning things round as well they had just given themselves too much to do.

Some of their fans are absolute scum. Years back went there and their fans spent the whole game throwing missles over the fence at us. Last time we went their we were in a Mini bus, We went to the game and whilst we were being kept back their fans attacked our driver and stole the keys off him. They smashed a few windows too. I think a club like them deserve what they get.

Chelsea have big history with Middlesbrough, among other clubs. Apparently some pubs of other hooligans used to get destroyed Friday night or after most had gone home on Saturday. There was big trouble at the end of a season just before Ken Bates put the electric fences up (they weren't ever switched on so I'm told). The clip on tv has some Chelsea really close at the away end giving it the come on. One of them was on his own at 1 point I think, maybe threw a handful of coins at the Boro fans.
