Could tomorrow realistically be Wilf's last home game for us? If we don't avoid relegation surely he will leave, if we do avoid relegation we will still have a battle to keep hold of him.
Thoughts?

We've already got enough to worry about without pitching in another lump of potential misery. One thing at a time. Firstly Sunderland/Swansea; if that goes the right way (for us) then we can start worrying about next seasons squad. If Swansea get a result, secondly we need to concentrate on not losing to Hull. If we do, then thirdly we need a result at Man U (God help us). Let's just hope we're not relegated because we'll then have half a chance of Zaha and other key player staying/joining, although our likely finishing position will not help with recruitment and retention.

Yes it could. But it might not be.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

This.

Just another shot at starting another subject without really saying anything apart from 'thoughts?' at the end of it. Usually pointless threads to avoid it or fill boredom time if you're 12.

It's entirely the club's decision whether he leaves or not as he still has a few years to go on his contract.

True, but we all know in reality that, if a player wants to leave, there's really no point in preventing them, the club just has to cut the best deal possible.

In all honesty I am only looking at the games today and tomorrow. Really hope we don't end up needing something at Old Trafford next week.

Only then will I start thinking about the squad for next season.

If it a pointless thread why bother to comment on it!

Maybe he hoped it would put you off starting another one?

What the f*** are you on about? It's about as concisely different to anything else on here as it gets. Sure it could be structured a little better, but it is solely built around Wilf. Yes the implications of the next two lots of fixtures will have an impact on his football career, but don't get it twisted with the palace v hull or this weekends fixture threads (just because that's at the forefront of everyone's minds does not mean it should dominate a new topic). In answer to the OP, yes it could be wilfs last home game however, if we stay up I think he will stay. The lad is apparently a very nervous character off the pitch, he will not want to get burnt by another club once again if he can push us on to be a top 8 club...not just yet anyway.
