Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping. Hubert Reeves |

Research sponsored by Dairy Industries in Australia, Holland and France!! No surprises as to how/why they reached their conclusions then.

There actually isn't very much that is bad for you if you have everything in moderation, and as part of a well balanced diet. Most foods groups all contribute in their own way to the overall well being of your body and it's needs.

The demonisation of fat that started in the 70's..............sponsored by the sugar industry. You will find we have been consuming sugar just as long as we have fat. A lot of people do not understand food and buy in to the rubbish you hear on tv and from the media. for one there is different types of sugar all you ever hear about is sugar is bad so if that is the case you can't eat fruit this has lots of sugar in it known as frutose. A lot of this is because people are lazy if you look back to things like the 80-90 everything was loaded with sugar yet you ddin't see the problems with so many obese people about because people back then didn't just sit in front of tv/computers all the time they did walk to the shops and school now everyone drives or gets dropped off. Nothing wrong with dairy if used correctly just like everything if you abuse it in the long run it will do you harm but then we are not made perfect so one person can eat drink same as another yet one of them has medical issues we are flawed.

Old sugar - no problem. But since the mid 70's, and a big part of why there are so many chubbies, is that big corporations stumbled on to sweet corn syrup. Much, much cheaper but a helluvalot more fatty and calorific. Coca-cola circa 1981 was not quite the same Coca-cola as 1971. And that goes for tonnes of other stuff. I have small amounts of smack for breakfast but I also have a slab of salmon and a bagel. And look at me, fit as a butcher's dog.

Nutritionists don't know anything beyond what is completely obvious anyway (e.g. eat more veg and less sugar) - this dairy industry sponsored research is a perfect example of why! But as long as you aren't obese or snorting cream cakes every 5 minutes it really doesn't make much difference anyway. I'm off to have a bacon butty.
