Your fighting for your lives and come up with a performance like that??? I don't think so!!! Hennesey and zaha only stand out players jut shows how bad our strength in depth is. We will stay up based on others mess ups but we need serious investment in the summer with our defence and midfield... different team without cabaye and sakho

Only one fit centre half and a makeshift defence against a full flow City. Sorry no amount of battling would of helped us today and any red card would of been disastrous. Strength in depth is poor, we all know, but that can be addressed. As for only staying because of other teams mess ups, that's how it is every season. It's how a league works over 38 games. If we stay up it's because we were better than 3 or 4 others and therefore will of deserved it. Oh and in spite of Hennessey, not because of him.
No one was slagging off anyone after Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Can't beat the best every week.

It could have been a lot more than 5...we were awful, saying that I think any team playing against city today without centre backs would struggle. Sunderland have given us a huge lifeline and hopefully Everton will get a result tonight. COYP

Agree, only at fault with one of the goals. So fed up with those on here blaming him when the real problem is the abysmal lack of quality in front of him. There is no ball skill. Just about good enough for the Championship.
A major re-think required for next season, just hope Allardyce can provide a sticking plaster for the Hull match.

Disagree. He wasn't perfect by any means and he definitely needs work, but his defence made things near impossible for him. And he still saved a lot more than he let in.

We didn't lose because of Hennessey, but he isn't good enough. We need a clear out and Sam will have to be ruthless.

Get real, did anyone really have this down as a game we would get anything from ?

Incredibly hard game. I had this down as 0 points today.

Tompkins, Dann and Sakho if we can get him will certainly strengthen there. Fit squad and some extra recruits possibly a new goalie and we should do well under Allardyce in a full season.
