So Middleborough are out unless they win their next 3 games and score 9 goals or more in total. Does anyone think we will have to win the next home game to ensure we stay up? Was hoping Saturdays game we would end up at 41 points but the normal Palace rollercoaster continues.I was hoping for a top ten finish but now would just be happy for another shot at having a better season next year than this one. I think Swansea will be the 3rd side to go down with us finishing in the last safe spot.

Sunderland and Middlesborough can't catch us so we need to win one game out of our last three or Swansea need to lose one game for us to be safe, regardless of what everybody else does. After Saturday I don't know which is more likely!

If we draw against Hull then Hull and Swansea need to win all of the other 5 games for us, and for us to lose our remaining 2 games for us to go down. That is 7 games to go against us. It could happen but it won't. Calm down.

Whilst I get what you're saying 7 games isn't that many and let's hope Everton do the decent thing and thrash Swansea next week.

Do they have anything to play for though ? I think they already have a Europa League spot due to the Cups being won by the top 4 ish clubs ? Any ideas ?

It will be very close as I don't think we'll win another game. More hoping Hull or Swansea slip up.

Trouble is that all Hull/Swansea games are against teams with nothing to play for making their jobs that much easier. If it comes down to the last game which is a distinct possibility then it's a complete lottery with us playing United, Hull playing Spurs and Swansea playing West Brom. Which team will turn up?

You are just applying different rules to Hull and Swansea and Palace in order to come up with this hysteria.

It is still too early to know what is going to happen, but we are just as likely to come up against Manchester United when they are eyeing up a place in the Champions League via the Uefa Cup (I assume winning that still qualifies for the Champion's League).

I would rather be Palace than Hull or Swansea.

Anyone looking to predict the outcome of the next few games, we have picked up 9 points from Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool and 1 point from Southampton, Burnley and Leicester. May I suggest you admit defeat and just enjoy the ride.

Why do people think we won't beat Hull. I remember being in exactly the same position last year when we had to beat Norwich and we did. At least our fate is in our own hands have some faith in the team and Big Sam.

Hull still have to play Spurs.

It's their last game. Title could be Chelsea's by then. Spurs didn't bother at Newcastle last game last season. But Spurs are becoming less Spursy.

I believe we'll do it but there's sure to be some drama. Time to be men on the pitch and stands. Shrinking violets aren't needed.
