Remember Oldham winning their last three games and sending us down on goal difference? 49 points (albeit from 42 games), but not good enough to stay up.

Looking at Swansea's remaining games, I'm fearing a similar scenario. Can anyone offer any words of solace please?

Hull still need five points as well as Swansea getting seven from three thanks to our goal difference. Realistically if we can avoid losing to Hull we will stay up. Ideal!y we take three points hull and Swansea work their magic and west ham play Ipswich twice next season

Win one game . Safety secured- 3 chances. Sam will have the team pumped up for hull. His 2m bonus could rely on it. If Swansea fail to beat Everton on sat at 5.30. Then a point enough.

we will play 3 games. Just one Draw for us....will require both our relegation rivals getting a miracle. Highly unlikely for BOTH of them.

Yes, the run in looks tough for us and easy for our rivals. But Goal difference is worth a spare point.

And Big Sam is very good at grinding out a draw.

It took One miracle for Oldham to catch us. This year it will take two minor miracles.

It's simple. We might have to either beat or draw with Hull depending on what Swansea do against Everton.
If they lose that game we are OK.
If we lose to City and Hull and Swansea draw or beat Everton then you can prepare for the worst because we will then have to beat or draw with United.

ManUre are playing a dozen extra games and are looking seriously jaded. They have 2 games against Celta Vigo to worry about.... this gives us an opportunity.

this is what happens when we get comfortable and assume we're going to stay up too early. When will we learn?

Only if Swansea lose at least one of their last three games.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Every team who have 41 points or below without a decent goal difference should be looking over their shoulders. Swansea have 3 games against teams who could be on the beach. Win all 3 and they will have 41 points. Simply for us we need 1 more win, which seems the most likely against Hull. Barring unexpected results this is going to the wire with potentially 5 teams involved.
