It does seem a bit harsh though and a waste but they could have sentenced him to watching Charlton play indefinitely. Now that would really be punishment.......

20 or 30 years ago that would have been a 50 quid fine if he was very unlucky. More likely a hiding in the back of a police van. I just hope* nobody takes a shine to the poor, godforsaken wretch. *I don't really.
