that was a straight away red. referee was right there. there should be retroactive consequences for those ones. tomkins gutted out the last few minutes, to his credit. who knows how bad that injury could be, or could have been. pathetic referee.

Ref was useless, booked Benteke for what he perceived as a dive. What a biased cheating Twonk. Parrot

Six minutes added time was criminal too

Usual f***ing s*** from the officials, although the ref made a couple of mistakes by giving free kicks for fouls on Zaha.

A couple of dodgy decisions against us today but people seem to forget that they should have had a pen!

He had the yellow out for the Tomkins foul straight away, without checking on how badly injured he was. Some refs wait to see the consequences of a foul before deciding on further action. Marriner makes his decisions rather quickly. In this instance, it was a bit too quick and could have given Liverpool a decided advantage they didn't deserve. It added to stoppage time and reduced Palace to ten with Tomkins no longer able to play where he should have been. Officials need to be told to not be so fast to decide yellow or red in these situations.

Someone can scissor someone and if the other player is fine it's till a red, equally someone can clip someone's ankle and it's just a free kick even if they land badly and do their ACL. Still think it was a poor decision though.

And fair play to Campbell, played well in the 10 or so when he was on. His play in the corner was great, 3 red shirts around him and made them really work.
