I have a feeling that this is just the start of what PALACE can achieve....... We have a fantastic group of players, a world class manager and a board that wants Palace to go to the next level or beyond!!!!

Please show us how far you can go.

I have thought this many times over the years and every time we have shot ourselves in the foot.

But if we stay up , keep Sam , persuade Sakho to join, keep Wilf and with the Chairman we have I have feeling your feeling could be right.

Keeping the team together is going to be the hard bit. There are question marks over Sakho, Zaha, Cabaye and possibly Benteke and Townsend as well. I sincerely hope that we're not going to have to go in for a massive rebuild because it takes so long to get back to where we were again.

Sadly I've seen false dawns before so I'm just looking for a season in mid table

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

I feel the same as I did at the end of the season with Pulis. So long as Sam doesn't bugger off, I can't wait to see what we can do when he's had the team for a full pre-season.

Average tenure of Palace managers over the last 20 years is just shy over 12 months.

If we get four quality players in during summer and manage to keep Sakho I reckon Sam will blow that stat out of the water and be here for at least 16.

I thought season 2 under Pulis would be our coup de gras.

Then that fell into the toilet.

Then I thought the fact Pardew had some tenure and an FA Cup Final (as well as a pretty decent first XI) would be the foundation of us flourishing.

Then that fell into the toilet.

I hope it's turd time lucky.

Sorry, that wasn't all build up to a poo joke.

Lol.. i think that's why pardew was given so much time. Parish is well aware short term management is a negative & really wanted to put a stop to it. Pardew was having none of it though.

The big difference now is the huge amount of TV money on offer plus we have the american money on top. We have a great squad and a great manager now, so i think it will be different now and we can build a legacy

The 'American money' is not a lot in context. equivalent to four decent signings plus wages over three years max.

It's not going to change the club.

Isn't the American money for Ground improvements.?
I think what I,ve learnt over the years is to take each game as it comes.
Win or Draw, clean sheets and as Sam says pick up the points.
That will move you into the top 10.

Yes, i think the American money hasn't been touched yet quite rightly, all of our spending has been funded from TV money or player sales (well only really bolasie)

It was Sam's crystanbul.
