Jaysuss, 27 years? I'll never forget:

How feckin' cold it was behind the corner flag..at the start at least
How mental I went when Brighty equalised. Strained my vocal chords and couldn't speak for two weeks!
How quickly Courtenay gave that pen. I'm sure the whistle was in his mouth in readiness.
Thinking that that young no.11 who scored the winner might have management potential.

I remember going hoping we would not get embarrassed. At 2-3 I thought the players had done the club, themselves and us, the fans, proud. What came afterwards was just unbelievable.

I was in the Holt End and when Gray scored I ended up standing about 15 yards from where I started. How I got there I have no idea.

The strange thing is when we got the corner for the winner I knew we'd score.

I still get a lump in my throat when I watch it now.

This was when the rollercoaster started for me!

My favourite match, and surely one of the greatest cup ties of all time. I am wearing my 1990 replica shirt today in honour of the occasion.

My favourite all time CPFC game. I lost my voice for 4 days. Silence on train going home was the realisation of what we had achieved. Still waiting for that first major trophy though (sob!).

The only game still to this day that i cried of happiness on the final whistle! Stood where the best of the action happened, bang in the middle of the Holte End.

Probably the best and most memorable game since the 2-0 promotion win v Burnley in 1979!

That's a Throwback, with the jerseys as big as tents and the mud pool in front of the goal. But Pardew messing us up? that's still the same! Anyway, probably one of the greatest- if not THE greatest day in Palace history.

Speroni would've saved it!
