I'm sick of reading this forum after a loss. The amount of fans thinking we're doomed or relegated. Any football fan knew we gave absolutely everything at Stanford bridge on Saturday to achieve them 3 points. Left nothing in the dressing room. Middlesbrough and Sunderland are near enough down. We have a game in hand on hull and Swansea. We knew that our home Form was going to determine wether we're a prem side next season. Let's ramp up the volume on Monday night for an important game. The hunt is on. Coyp Edited by CPFC/SCCC (06 Apr 2017 2.48pm)

I wanted us to win at Southampton but we didn't and I now believe that the fighting spirit is in the whole squad. Let's get behind the team at home and make Selhurst a ground of fear for ALL opposing teams.

both sides annoy me, the ones who scream top half finish when we win 4 and those who scream certain relegation when we lose a couple. It's going to be a hard slog from now until the end of the season. Let's go game by game, there are no games we can't win as Chelsea proved but likewise we can lose any of them, Hull and Burnley will not be a certain easy 3 points.

I think injuries are going to make or break us. We need Tomkins, van Aanholt, Jimmy Mc and Cabaye back... Edited by Sansbup (06 Apr 2017 8.57am)

Spot on OP. I was still shagged from Saturday at the bridge. You could tell the rest of the support was last night and the lads out on the pitch certainly were. There is such a thing as big game hangover and that is what happened last night. Along with Southampton being really on their game. No need to go hitting the panic button. We need to regroup and get ready for battle against Arsenal. Fresher, sharper and more on our game.

Interesting side note, we have never won away at Southampton in the premier league. We realistically targeted one point from Chelsea, Southampton and Arsenal, and have three. When your down the bottom in this league, fighting it out, its not about where you are any given week that matters but where you finish overall. Its absurd to think we'd not drop points over these three games. And the oddity is of course we are up two on expectations.

I think we might be even more than 2 ahead of what I was expecting before the last 5 games. Sadly, Hull have gathered more points than I expected as well. Part of me is actually quite pleased for Hull, a team near the bottom battling like we are. I hope both teams stay up, something I wouldn't have said when that squashed nose hippo was in charge.

Hopefully we can get 3 wins from our last eight which would take us to 40 points. Swansea would have to win 4 of their last 7 to get there. Last night was always going to be hard with Kelly having to play Centre Back. Odd that we have won there twice in the Cup in recent years but lose there in the league every time.

I think I want the Swans gone over Hull but I won't be fussy if Palace stay up! The whole nonsense with the likes of Paul Merson dooming Hull for sacking that fat idiot from United and hiring a "no-name, no experience" man just because he was foreign and not one of the usual Premier League merry-go-round managers. Hasn't lost a home game in 3 and a half years and if we think we are in the brown stuff, we got serious money to get re-enforcements in January, Hull have not had much backing. I don't really have much against Swansea either but don't really care about a bunch from Wales going down. The best result would be West Ham dropping but being realistic I think it has to be Hull or Swansea.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |
