Not been to Dallas but have driven through Texas. It was like a big Kent with 90 degree heat in April.

I've been once but only overnight Did a fuk load of walking (maps are deceptive - what looks like a 10 min walk is actually about 1hr40 - especially if you take an immediate wrong turn) Went to this Mexican [Link] It was good I think but I can only really remember the Margaritas (which were the bollux) Stumbled out of there into a Karaoke bar opposite and flaunted the 'cor blimey guvnor' accent all night to decent effect. (Oh my god - are you guys Australian?) Left the next morning feeling like death. Saxon's in laws are an hours drive from Dallas so he'd have some decent tips if you can track him down. Got a feeling Neillo knows that part of the globe quite well too.

I've been to Dallas a few times and have some friends there who I normally visit. What sort of things are you interested in? Food/restaurants? Day trips? etc. I would say that if you are planning on hiring a car and driving, make sure you have a good gps fitted in the car and study maps before going anywhere. Dallas has a ridiculous network of ringroads and bypasses around the downtown area which can be really confusing if you haven't been there before.

I have been there once, which was November 22 1963. I was visiting a mate who had a pidgeon problem at the book warehouse he worked in, so we spent the day shooting pidgeons. A few bullets went astray, we had had a few beers, but we reasoned it's not like that would change history?
