The 4 chord trick as performed by Ed Sheeran... worth watching for aspiring guitarists or if you're just a bit of a music fan.

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

i think he's pretty talentless to be honest. if that's what we call talent in today's music then it's a sad state of affairs. which it is

The guy is brilliant. He knows how to write a song and the fact that he is dominating the charts speaks for itself.

He is talented, but sticks to tried and tested formulas. Nothing is truly original or groundbreaking.

Who is he. Is he Adele, but with a smaller p****? He seems to be another James Blunt / Damien Rice / Seasick Steve type of wannabe troubadour.

He's no Leonard Cohen or Townes Van Zandt.

I think he's brilliant to be fair. He's definetley a musician as opposed to being just a singer.

Talented bloke

anyone who's played an instrument before to a decent level would realize just how easy it is to write the songs that he does. and his voice is nothing special, that's for sure. compare his songs to something like easy now by eric clapton, or anything from all things must pass by george harrison, among countless others. i'm sorry, but there is not really any comparison. that's real acoustic music, while ed sheeran is bland and pretty soulless

I play guitar and I'll re-iterate my earlier point. The guy has talent, knows how to write a hit, but isn't pushing the boundaries in any way. Which is a shame. My guess is he's afraid to experiment, or else, his label is telling him "no".

The guy's got enough money to go his own direction though, surely.Don't know how many future albums he's contracted to.
