A lot of people wanted him gone during the rut but for me he is such a key player for us. If we are to compete in the premier league ever, he is pretty much the only guy we have who can consistently bring the ball down and pick out a pass. Under pardew he was just running around like a headless chicken, expecting to run box to box (not his game) and people still expected him to also anchor the back 4. So good to see him coming up with the goods now that he has a solid base around him that gives him the freedom to do what he does best. A class act IMO and a must keep if we stay up. MOTM for me today.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

A great result but with zero shots on target in 94mins from the team no player involved today can be called 'class' on the back of that performance.

It didn't take a 1-0 scraped win for me to decide that. Easy to jump on a player like Cabayes back when things are going awfully but is probably our most important player in possession.

And people were concerned about Sam's style of play and players didn't want to play for him. Quite the opposite. And Sam has got 300% more out of Townsend. Tomkins as well. Ward too.

Cabaye's shot in the first half that was blocked for a corner and Wilf's volley which was blocked in the second both looked on target to me... But I've not seen the replays. We created by far the best chances Restricting Watford to long range efforts.

Cabaye Looked tired 5 mins or so before coming off. Had to decide when and when not to be where he should be. Good decision bringing him off. Was concerned with no central midfielders on the bench. Wtf has happened to Jimmac?

MOTM for me today. Agree. As well as showing ability and composure on the ball he also puts a shift in every week.

Cabeye was chasing everything today had one of his better games today,Now on a downer we need to play someone up front with benteke or top him all together he won't go and get the ball wants to wait for it to come to him.I would like to see Campbell given a run in the team help for benteke or in place of as at least Campbell goes after balls and tries to make things happen
