Crab shack in st brelade is nice A trip out to Elizabeth castle and then walk back to st helier Some of the WWII stuff is good if you are into that and the zoo is quite good but small. Worth hiring a car but you're never more than about half an hour from anywhere. If you get the weather the beaches are lovely

I'm in Normandy in the Summer near Mont Saint Michel and I though it would be a nice short cheap ferry hop over to Jersey for a day trip. I was wrong. The price to travel is more than it costs to travel from Dover to Calais. About £250.
