According to a foreign paper we are going to be fighting it out with West Ham and PSG for Daniel Sturridge. I for one hope we lose that fight as he only seems to play a couple of games a season. West Ham selling Carrol to buy Sturridge that also seems stupid. Who would want a player that makes Darren Anderson seem like an athlete.

Not that we would get him anyway, but please No. Even overlooking his fitness record, the fact is other players could forget seeing much of the ball with Sturridge in the side. The most greedy and unaware footballer around. Any money of that magnitude is better spent elsewhere.

He doesn't run in behind like he used to - maybe he lacks some pace as injuries have taken their toll or is a bit reticent to extend himself due to his injury problems.

Had one good season playing alongside Suarez - I would look good playing alongside Suarez. Permanently injured, no guts for the fight, too small for Sam's long ball tactics. Not wanted by Chelsea, City or the Bin dippers. Waste of £25m - agent clearly trying to find a home for him, Klopp wants rid. Happy to help them out with Sakho though.

he's a great player, i'd want him at palace in a heartbeat. fitness is a worry though, as i'm assuming selling benteke is considered a given if sturridge were to sign.
