Is he really on twitter? I follow 'him' but sometimes I really think it's just a windup merchant...

Can anyone confirm either way?

Does he use lots of quotation marks, grandiloquent language and references to "piffle" and "hogwash"?

What a wonderful word, and so under-used.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I didn't think it was him at first, but the account has now been verified and he does seem to get a lot of responses from ex players, chairman's etc So would now say it's a legitimate account.

Ha ha. Don't forget 'riseable slur'.

Seems to like Clattenburg too.

Not as good as "rectiloquent", which one might think more fitting.

Yes I agree. As well as "grandiloquent", Chateauferret used "soi-disant" the other day which I thought was especially cool. Who says that the art of fine wordsmanship is dead?

Clearly a wordsmith 'Par Excellence'.

As I am cerebrally challenged , I'm afraid I don't have an array of grandiose words in my vocabulary.
