Unfortunately I had to miss the game but it seemed like we were fairly direct on Saturday. Will that work vs West Brom? Maybe not. Pulis plays 4 centre backs in defence doesn't he?

They only had 3 centre-backs on Saturday. Not sure if they played 3 at the back or not.Chris Brunt has in the past played at left-back although he is not a left-back by trade, he plays further forward. He was in the side on Saturday as was their recent signing, right-back Allan Nyom.

WBA have won 7 of their last 8 'Home' games but they have only kept a 'Clean sheet' in 3 of them.

Form goes out the window for the rest of the season. We just need to be on our game and go for every point we can get. It's about time we beat a Spurs as well!

That's how the players need to start thinking, we need to believe we can beat anyone and stop giving teams to much respect!

Tactics - anything but last year!!
Freezing cold. Ward skinned constantly down their left wing. Dann didn't bother marking Berahino. 3-0 down by half time. Adebayor absolutely rubbish - stood around shiffering until taken off and then Conor Wickham launches a one man fight back.
But this year we have a different team - unlikely that even 4 of that team will play. What a difference a year makes.

A lot more threat posed by West Brom than there was with Middlesbrough. Their defenders will dominate Benteke and Rondon will stretch our defence. I think Dann will need to start to deal with their aerial threat. We may need 2 up front to stand much of a chance of winning any battles against their defenders. Maybe start Schlupp ahead of Townsend as he can match their full-backs for strength, similar to Bolasie so better utilised on the counter. Similarly Wilf on the right is much better there on the counter.

We must match mboro result against stoke. I would say stay in the game and try to nick a win. 0-0 a good result though.

Really need to counter against them i reckon.
Wilf on the right and Townsend on the left but they have to really get at West Brom.
Luca, MacArthur and Cabaye in the middle.
Same back four as Saturday plus WH in goal.
Keep it tight, frustrate them and break to score - hopefully!
