Yet another decision for Man U?

Sorry wrong thread probably but just got back from pub with cup final in background as with non football family but from glimpse of replay saints disallowed goal the guy that scored , was he offside ? Another guy seemed to be but is this yet another decision for Man u that is wrong.

You sound surprised. Why? The linesman gave offside against Bertrand because Gabbiadini was supposedly in an offside position when the ball was played. The only problem was that it wasn't Gabbiadini who was offisde but a player beyond him who was not interfering with play at all. You couldn't make it up. Perhaps Willo will be along in a minute to explain why a serious and stupid mistake which perhaps changed the outcome of a cup final is acceptable, because I can't understand it at all. The Assistant will have his own explanation and no doubt he has seen the 'Slow-Mo' and discussed this with his 'Team'. There was a player in an offside position and what he might say is that in the end this influenced his decision.

I think footballs just corrupt it's a million pound money making industry. I honestly believe that lots of these big games cup finals title deciders key games etc I think the outcome of these games has already been decided before a ball as even been kicked. The money at stake is humongous with all the Far East betting syndicates etc. It's the only explanation I can think of for all these peculiar decisions which seem to arise so often regarding certain teams. So that's 2 cup finals in a row that they have won with baffling refereeing decisions. It cannot be a coincidence that they have the weight of 600 million football supporters behind the club and they get the decisions. In effect I'm accusing the officials of cheating. The officials are simply more afraid of getting a big decision wrong when the worlds attention is on Man Unt, nobody cares when they get it wrong and it affects Southampton or Palace, this is bias an it is cheating. Only video replays will ever save us from this. Parrot
