Sakho was brilliant yesterday but also thought Tomkins was a great defensive colleague. Whether that was Sakho leadership it bought the best out of Tomkins and his best game in a Palace shirt. I hope we continue with Tomkins and Sakho. Scott dann failed to deliver his performance that was on the cusp of England.

Agree thought sahko was solid which meant that he gave tomkins more time to pass or get the ball away.

Sakho and Tomkins. They were excellent but they are also the two quickest CBs we have and that makes difference. Not only has Dann been poor this season he is pedestrian to put it mildly

Longer term I'd say Sakho & Dann as he will I'm sure return to form.
Saying that, I doubt Palace will stump up the £24m Liverpool want for Sakho in the summer if we were to stay up so whichever division we're in its back to the drawing board in the summer

Pity. Based on yesterday I'd have their arm off. Look at Stones, for example, in comparison.

Feel sorry for the younger fans who never got to experience Cannon and Gilbert. Put any of this lot to shame.

Is that a euphemism for injured? He has not had full fitness for a while.

If Sakho retains his form he showed yesterday, I think paying Liverpool the £24m should be a priority. His blocking, passing accuracy, speed of passing etc was phenomenal.

He looks the business but I am not so sure Liverpool will let him go at the end of the season. Seems to be a bone of contention with the scousers: [Link]

Pretty sure that Sam will have a list of players to improve the squad if we stay up. I was a Pardew fan and was gutted when he was sacked, but I have been hugely impressed with how Sam has strengthened the depth of the squad with just four purchases.

Hopefully the results will now follow and we will stay up by the skin of our teeth.

Sakho is a brilliant defender. Not sure about £24 million but I think it might be a steal in the long run.

If Sakho has an outstanding 6 months, there will be better offers on the table. 24M is big money for a defender. We have lost many great players after a loan spell, Paul Stewart,Ashley Cole, James Vaughan just a few i can remember.
