2 points separates us from 16th. We all feel resigned because of the awful year we've had. But, it's 2 points for god sake and I was led to believe that in football it is 3 for a win. We need to let the new crop of players realise that they could be heroes. A fanatic display with their faces on it with the words 'you could be heroes' might have an effect. As fans we've got to get behind the players. It's clear that in the past the fans and players were on board together. Now we have a responsibility to get them back on board. We're far from adrift. Come on people!

Yeah well said. It's becoming very difficult but we have escaped before from worse positions so not totally out of the question. I do think that Middlesbrough is an absolutely must win game though. Win that and everything changes.

Come on people! I agree with your sentiment but I'm worried that certain players don't buy into the club's character.

very well said. where have all our so called fans gone...we've been through way worse than this in our recent history! Yes it's incredibly frustrating but we have to keep the faith. On paper we have the best squad we've ever had and we need to give BFS more time (even though I wish we had never got rid of Pardew). We've gotten out of worse situations with far inferior players. It's not going to be easy but there are enough games left to still give us a fighting chance. Also because it's so tight at the bottom I reckon 36 points should do it this season. That's only another 17 points out of a possible 39. Should be doable.
