At the press conference today did I hear correctly Allerdyce (AKA BFS) say that he had not had the impact that he had hoped for and now he was relying on the impact of the new signings to lift the team?
This , if correct , is quite an admission that he has been unable to improve the teams performance , which the results do illustrate. We have to hope that he can with the help of the new signings change things around by the end of the season.

Pardew lifted us. So did Pulis. Earn your money Allardyce!

He succeeded in getting a win at Bournemouth but he didn't realise just how bad we were at home which has been the case for so long under previous regimes. Changes are needed and thats where the new players come in hopefully.
He says it like it is and he's right.

Doesn't surprise me I actually don't think managers from this country are actually capable of coaching anymore, just pick up a paper see who's doing well in europe and use the premier league money to bring them in.

Well at least he was being honest. I doubt if you would have heard the same from Pardew.

Neither of those 2 had as much heavy lifting to do as Allardyce has.
And well you know it, Tim.

And both of them in their different ways managed to let go.
