Press really going for him over his desire for a Knighthood and the lengths he's prepared to go (or gone) to get one (allegedly)...

Loads of articles if you google Beckham Emails.

I'd rather Beckham was made a Knight than Sir Phillip Green..... but seems Becks is pretty miffed, moaning about Katherine Jenkins getting an OBE - the same as he got, "and she's just a fcuking singer.." according to him.

Well David I'd much rather listen to Jenkins than Posh, and her t1ts are real... but I'm not sure if Jenkins takes it up the Arsenal?

Don't be coarse about Katherine Jenkins please. She is a lovely lady and we ought to be more gentlemanly.

Bang on about the tits though.

Yeah Becks has done a lot of good in the public eye but he's also cheated on his missus and avoids paying tax through a legal loophole, and lets not forget that sarong and the corn rows. How much of that was in his own interest, for Brand Beckham, rather than genuine goodwill for others?

What constitutes a knighthood these days? If it's the reserve of the very very best, then he falls short.

Think the knighthood thing is detracting from the real issues. The fact it's all about brand beckham, a front, a farce , none of its real and he seems a foul mouthed, slippery character. Probably been up to all sorts which will come out in the fullness of time.

Too right. Cracking looking lady, great rack and no stranger to a cheeky line. Bet Becks would if he had the chance ( although he may have fcuked it up now).

I like Beckham, made the list of limited tal not by working damn hard. Yes that became brand Beckham but when he worked hard to get where he is.

I haven't read the emails but you need to think back to 2013, the world and his wife thought he would be knighted. He probably expected it after the amount of people that seemed to think he was a shoe in. So he had a bit of a rant, can anyone honestly say they haven't said things they later regret?

When it was pointed out that his (legal) tax avoidance scheme which he was a member of was deemed a problem, he stopped, he didn't have to

Also everyone who meets him seems to think that his charity work is genuine and he often goes above and beyond what is expected. A lot of the time without cameras and media being around.

Is he perfect? No neither he or his misses are but I tell you what, neither are the paragon's of virtue on here.

Has he actually done something noteworthy of being honoured. I know plenty of other c**ts get State Honours for basically being themselves and lining their own pockets etc.

But shouldn't we only honour those who actually make great sacrifices, or achieve something extraordinary. I'd rather see someone who's worked in a hospice as a nurse for 30 years, avoiding promotions etc so as to stay in the front line service helping people come to term with death, than some rich f**k playboys who've donated money to charity, or lent their image to a charity.

That's not a sacrifice. People, for want of my favourite example, like Lisa Potts (now Webb), should be the kind of people we give the highest awards to. Not celebrities.

People like this, earn that status, which should come with a pension that secures them for life.

Two separate arguments.
