Swansea and Hull look good, Sunderland organised - we are none of that right now and not even close to either Swans or Hull.

So my question is, was yesterday a 'relegator' result or can we still, realistically, stay up?

For me it would need at least 6 points from the next 2 and even then its still a mammoth task.

Of course we can stay up. One result doesn't send you down. Hopefully Sam can learn when to play 3 at the back and when to play 4. In hindsight yesterday was the wrong time to play it: against a team that matched it and had more experience of that formation. Against Defoe, the 3 at the back just caused chaos.

We can if the team shows the same desire to play as the posters on here do to start new threads about the same topics over and over again.

Yes of course we can I have no doubt about that. All it needs is BFS to sort his head out, sort the team out, sort the training staff out and sort the goalkeeping side out.

As we are always being told we have the talent in our team but they are not playing as a team BFS needs to give them some confidence and better tactics in training. Our defence needs to go back to 4 and keep a line not like yesterday when they were all over the shop. BFS is the manager and is getting very big bucks to keep us up so I think he needs to start earning it!!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I still have us staying up just. This is what I have for the remaining games:

Stoke ( A) D
Middlesbrough (H) W
WBA ( A) D
Tottenham (H) L
Watford (H) W
Chelsea ( A) L
Southampton ( A) L
Arsenal (H) L
Leicester (H) W
Liverpool ( A) L
Burnley (H) W
Man City ( A) L
Hull (H) W
Man Utd ( A) L

Still 5 wins and 2 draws. With 15 the points being home games so they must pick this up. If we do not pick up our home form we are down as the games away are not going to be enough with the likes of Chelsea,Southampton,Liverpool,Man City, Man Utd.

I am trying to hold on to something from the Bournemouth game and hope they can get something against Stoke. We cannot loose to Swansea and Sunderland at home and not work out what we have to do against another 6 pointer game. Something has got to give. I don't think we could ask for a better schedule in this situation as we got all the teams still around us at home.
