Are we not making it worse? Allardyce has said the players are nervous playing at home. If we all join in booing and chanting you're not fit to wear the shirt etc.. It will only make the situation worse.

I completely agree with the concerns but I don't agree with the barracking during the 90 mins (including booing at HT).

Surely we need to move on and get behind the team and manager at their hour of need.

They've had constant support at home for 13 months and won 4 games. Evidence says that it's, unfortunately, irrelevant whatever the fans do.

I'm not advocating booing, abuse etc etc.

That said, I can totally understand the supporters frustrations - we have had to endure total excreta at 'Home' so it comes as no surprise that fans have reacted in this manner.Could get even more toxic if we continue in the same manner.

Considering the dreadful 2016 the support has been magnificent.
In actual fact, we haven't had a team put in front us for a long time worthy of our support!

This.... I actually think our support at home has been unbelievably good considering the tripe we have been served up with over the last 13 months..

Im actually surprised that Pardew got as much support as he did at home games. The fans rarely turned on him even though we were s***e at the end of his tenure.

The OP may not agree with booing at half time.... Please tell me youre not seriously suggesting that the players were clapped off the field yesterday???

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I'm hoping fans and players let their frustrations out, so we can start afresh for the next game.
A good performance on the pitch, and fantastic support from the fans.
We have a tough slog to get out of the drop zone, but we can do it -together

I disengage, I turn the page.

In all honesty, the least of our worries is our support.
Like many on here, I've supported this s*** from birth through thin and thinner.
These days, we only get to Selhurst half a dozen times a season but the last thing you should slag is the support.

Nonsense .... these are professional footballers earning £000s per week. They are employed to do a job which they are clearly inept at doing. No more excuses for them, the money has been spent and the infrastructure is all there. It's either time for their payback or time for them to go.

4 - 0 down at half time to Sunderland - I don't blame fans for booing to be honest.
I didn't but that was because I had already left - first time ever like that but I just could not take any more I'm afraid.
I do not advocate the violence or ugly scenes though - but booing - play like that in an entertainment business where people are paying then expect some backlash - just normal really isn't it.

We have become everything I despised in Sunderland and Newcastle fans over recent years.

Leaving at half time, booing, confronting the players. None of it will help us get out of this mess.

People are understandably frustrated but the fact that they feel it's ok to behave in a manner that they would not dream of doing in any other aspect of their lives is pathetic.

We are at our strongest supporting the players. The silence in the second half shows what we are really about. Like those teams I mentioned above, not so much supporting through thick and thin, just supporting through thick and behaving a like a spoilt child having a tantrum through the thin.

These 'fans' deserve relegation.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

Given the 12 months plus our fans have had to endure I think we've been pretty reasonable as fans.
