Anyone else have this?

On a night out tonight, a cracking one I must add. First time out in a while as I have been slammed at work! In a pub in Waterloo having a great time chatting up a glorious northern lass and all I can think about is how f*cking angry I am with the performance today.

Honestly if it can ruin a night like tonight with a lass like this, what can't it permeate? Anyone else stuck in the (red and) blues, any tips on how to reclaim a modicum of happiness in the face of such hopelessness?

Actual advice will be appreciated and if it works, a beer will be bought for you in the next couple of weeks!

I worked in the Waterloo area for over 30 years and I never discovered the pub that stayed open after midnight so you've done well there.

How did you explain that you just needed time out to put a longish post on a social media site? I'd have though that'd be more of a date killer than the Palace result.

You have a golden opportunity to allow her to show how caring she is - perhaps verbally until your relationship builds to the required level.

Talking of relationship levels, I expect Mr Alladyce to provide the 25, and hopefully some of those who do not have to be named, with guidance regarding what is available and what they can individually achieve if they apply themselves.

I leave you to apply yourself towards helping this your lady to understand that you need each others company for summer 2017.

Yes not good. I have been in a bad place for months now to be honest it's like a divorce or death of someone or your house being repossessed or something. I think I am going to get over it very soon and become resigned to relegation. We gave it a go probably longer than expected and had a few good moments to remember. We're down bring on the championship.

Pub was the duke of Sussex we had a room rented. Been kicked out now and making our way towards the Dover Castle in Borough one of the Most hallowed crappy pines that is a sweat fest filled with lovely KCL students.

Myself I am 50/50 as to whether to duck home and watch some drunken highlights before firing an angry email at the coaching staff.

I used to have a jolly up every other Saturday night when we played at home. The other Saturdays were for away games which were usually up north so no chance of a night out. There were 6 of us and 3 of those were non football fans.
I used to get so miserable when we lost that the non footballing 3 used to warn me that if I took my misery into our Saturday night out then I could f*** off.
And die.
I always thought that was a bit harsh. But on reflection....

Babs and Clean Willie were in love they said....

Yes I keep telling myself the same,I have done plenty of relegations but it seems different this time with much more pain not sure why !!
Should start a new thread see if I am alone in thinking this.

Worst one I have ever seen. Bearing in mind I only started following g Palace early 90s but to be honest it sounds ridiculous but the pain of relegation this time round will be as bad as anything I have dealt with before. I know it sounds callous but I think it will be on the level of a loss of a person or a heartbreak I genuinely feel that way.

The pain is caused, due to the first time in our history, having a ridiculously expensive team assembled, that is just woeful. For years we dreamed of big players with big expectations. We should of stuck with honest hard working players, that has been the recipe for success in the past. I just cant seem to connect with the majority of our squad, a couple maybe, but everyone else seems like they are here to bleed us dry. Feel like that qpr team when they just chucked money at it!
