Everything wrong with modern football! Quite a shocking read to be honest, 40k a week and wanted us to pay for his flat and broadband TV?!
Scoring goals for fun, and I know why.. PSN: Essex-Eagle |

The article did say it was usual for the clubs to provide accommodation for loan players, so it's harsh to say that Bamford '' demanded '' that. The broadband provision is cheeky to say the least. What is wrong with modern football is summed up by the fact that Chelsea paid him £40k a week. In fact a lot that is wrong in modern football originates from that football club.

The Daily Mail are just trying to whip up a stink over nothing by using emotive words in their article. Bamford allegedly demanded this that and the other but the article wouldn't have quite the same effect if it was rewritten to say that "Bamford also negotiated that the club pay his TV subscription" Everything about the remuneration of Premiership footballers is obscene if put into the context of the football supporters incomes who fund their lifestyles

£40,000 a week for Patrick Bamford... Quite unbelievable. The world has gone mad.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I know the financial director of a professional football club and he's told me of a request from a player's agent (the player was on loan at the time) for payment of £400 for hair gel. The FD's response was "Let me explain how wages work".
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

A bit unfair on the club really. Bamfords boyfriend should pay his share too.
