His been poor since Sam come to the club. Is it time remy started up front with a pressing from the front style similar to what Cameron jerome and chamakh did for us under pulis. Granted service to benteke been poor but is he doing enough in that lone striker role. My team would be 4-4-1-1 hennessey, Ward, Dann, Tomkin, pva, townsend, flaminI, cabaye , Puncheon (lm), McArthur and Remy.
Would have Zaha but unlikely to start against b'mouth.

It would give us a boost with player that could change a game with Zaha and benteke on the bench.

What's your feeling on this ?

Remy is not match fit, and looked rusty when he's played. Then after that we've got Fraizier Campbell who's s***e. I think Benteke has played as well as he can, given how s*** the service has been to him.

I think we just have to use him properly. I don't think either Remy or Benteke alone up front work very well, unless there is very good service into the centre-forward. But Remy and Benteke together should be excellent. If we are going to be defending deep for a while Benteke doesn't add much; until he received "special defensive training" he was a positive liability in that situation. I guess we can put Campbell on, who isn't as accomplished at the traditional centre-forward things but he does nowadays put a shift in and will come back for the ball instead of standing about waiting for it. Horses for courses, and we miss Wickham.

Against Everton he hit the post and had a lovely through ball to Remy that (lacking match fitness) Loic couldn't make enough of.

It's also worth noticing how many defenders get sucked to him in the box at corners.

He's doing fine.

We need some consistency in our delivery and his expectancy. Quite a few problems seem to be that the ball is being played into positions and areas he isn't running into.

Service is vital to a goal scorer. We create few crosses, and often they're rather erratic in their placement.

10th December thanks willo. Still benteke being top goalscorer doesn't mean he has to start. Looks uninterested to me.

None of our forwards have been prolific and you think we can afford the luxury of dropping our top scorer!

Agree. Also need to defend from the font. I would play remy and tell benteke to up his game. Bringing on benteke with 30 minutes to play. May even get us a positive result.

It's ludicrous dropping our top goal scorer.

we get Shuluup and PVA to supply the crosses and drop our top scorer.

Doesn't make sense in my opinion.
