Can someone tell me how we stop the crash dive that is watching Palace at the moment?

I'm thinking we need a miracle, for the life of me I cannot understand what has happened. We get better quality players and we get worse.

We need some good midfielders, having good ball players (and readers) would make a big difference to the rest of the team. (Cabaye and flamini 10 years ago would've probably fit the bill) That would take substantial pressure off both attack and defence IMO

One thing that can help is a good, hard, strong leader in the midfield. The way silva ran through our midfield for their second goal yesterday shows our biggest weakness. We desperately need a leader in midfield and if we don't sign one before Tuesday evdning, it doesn't matter how many new defenders we have we'll still be letting in goals.

Well we have two days and then Sam will need to work his magic with what we have after then.

I am hopeful that strengthening the back line with the few signings that we have made (I am assuming that PVA is a done deal) and hopefully an enforcer in the Defensive Midfield position will allow us to start off with a much more solid base.

Add to that Remy starting to come back towards fitness, Zaha coming back from Afcon and MacArthur coming back will stand us in good stead.

Anyone got the telephone number for International Rescue?

At the end of the day, that's why Big Sam is here but his miracle needs to start taking shape from this week.

Who can save us? Probably nobody or nothing. We're as good as down.

Then again, if at the beginning of the 2013-14 season we'd been told that we'd have four seasons in the Premier League, finish in the top 10 in one of those, and get to an FA Cup final, most of us wouldn't have complained.

I despair, for a lot of the time during games we play well but you always know at some stage we will lose concentration and conceed a goal (or two ) usually in the dying minutes of a half. The number of late goals against us is staggering.
I feel a point at Bournemouth is a minimum requirement along with a win against Sunderland otherwise for the first time I feel we are doomed.
Also along with all our other woes we appear to be jinxed whenever we sign anyone decent ,straight away they get injured,Wickham,Mandanda,Tomkins,Schlupp,Souare ,the list goes on and on.
Here's hoping for Tuesday.

Probably Zaha, if he has a good 2nd half we might just manage it, if not then we're down.

Not only will Major Sam and his trusty lieutenants march us to safety but Majorette Sam will also choreograph The Crystals.
NOT to be merged with Erotic public displays thread.
