I have always believed that as a kid he was a Millwall supporter.

I've known Ian was a Millwall fan for the last 30 years. It isn't a secret.

He loves Arsenal and has a soft spot for us but if Millwall were playing either he would want the Lions to win.

I met his Mum Nesta, a lovely lady.But we never talked about her football allegiances.

Does it really matter?

He played for us and was awesome every single game he played for us. How we could do with an Ian Wright now.

met him an gazza in the chicken shop in croydon, now the kfc on crown hill, after he left palace one sunday afternoon, behind me in the queue,arsenal days, didnt come across very nice but gazza was lovely guy, changed my opinion of him cos i thought he was an idiot, turns out they were going to the eagle at reeves corner for some do as saw it in next weeks croydon advertiser.Went off wrighty when it was all arsenal talk after he retiredand he did something when we played them, anyone remember? was enough to sour my memories anyway,, but gazza, lovely geezer!

I really struggle to see any problem with someone still supporting the team they followed as a kid, irrespective of who they may have played for.
