Happy to drive him there myself. An abject waste of time and space. WHU game was his worst yet (and boy that is an incredibly low bar!!)

I forecasted this quite some time ago. He is very much admired there as the Newcastle fans think he worked tirelessly to try to save them. Something hasn't been right at Selhurst and his heart is clearly not in it. I suspect he will do very well for them again and next season when they come back up. Best for all concerned I would think.

The report suggests Newcastle a willing to offer between£8-10m.
Why do we seem to buy high and sell low ??

How did he ever get chosen to play for England ahead of Wilf. I'd be happy to take a loss on him, just to get him off our books. We don't need lazy players when we're fighting relegation.

We used to. We don't any more. But that's partly why we are where we are.

Selling Murray for £4mil on a business decision (albeit with Gayle refusing to go to Bristol) and we had p1ss useless Bamford as well.

Gayle. £7mil approx profit.

Jedi. £4mil profit.

Bolasie. (Up to) close to £30mil.

Mutch we will lose nearly all our money on and Cabaye it depends when he goes. Cabaye was never bought with resale value in mind.

To stay in the Prem you have to lose money on some players and the massive tv money takes care of that. transfers in terms of business have been very good since Pulis. In terms of having enough areas covered and buying players with the right attitude it's been pretty poor since MacArthur got injured and then Bolasie 12 months ago when we brought in Adebayor 12 months ago.

I think the alarm bells are a bit clearer now in hindsight. Pardew wanted names, names, names. We need positions covered by players with integrity and a point to prove and a determination to prove it. Some of the new players with a point to prove aren't determined enough.

Please be true. I'd kick him up North harder than one of his blasts over the bar when a goal down.

Brady or Snodgrass would be great (but Brady is I gather around £12m) but money from Townsend would allow us to raise our bid maybe?

Can see this happening. Townsend clearly isn't interested in playing for Palace. Just runs around to keep away from our fans or to keep warm!

I bet if Newcastle buy him he will immediately start whizzing down the wing, fizzing over lots of crosses or cutting in and having a few shots.

Just like we thought he would do for us!
