The Board

If we go down, I won't blame Sam, I won't blame Pardew I will blame the board. Well some of it will be Pardew, but most of this mess is the board. Everyone demanded Pardew out months before it happened, they ignored the poor displays and the lack of confidence in our players and kept Pardew in. The board should of acted soooooooo much earlier than they did, but no they let Pardew keep destroying the team. Pathetic decision making. This isn't Sam's fault, he came in and has taken over a bunch of lost sheep. They are all so low on confidence, they all seem clueless. If the board of acted quicker then this mess in our team wouldn't be as bad as it is. The have over paid on Benteke, they got an injury prone player in taking one of our loan spaces (even though I do like Remy). They over paid on Townsend, they let Yannick go to easily. Before this season I felt the board was making good decisions and I have backed them. Time for them to step up and put things right. Give Sam the money he wants, and get some half decent players in who want to try and win rather than big names who couldn't give a f*** about the soul of our club... I agree to a certain extent, although all of the sycophants on here will be out to get you. Fair enough, Parish and co deserve a lot of praise for stepping in when no one else was interested, however many of their decisions have been bad ones. Also it appears that everything those Yanks touch (sports wise) turns to Shyte.

Just because Sam Allerdyce kept Sunderland up why does everybody think he will keep us up,let's face it everyone has kept Sunderland up above all odds.Changing managers at Christmas is rarely the answer. We had luck with Pullis. I think we have used that up.

We should have sacked Pardew in May, but December was better than him still being here now presiding over more shocking transfer decisions this window.

We were in desperate need of some players then and only brought Wickham in. That was ignorant & short sighted. We have been punching above our weight for some time and have now been found out. Our club is light years away from really competing in this league due to financial woes over the years. We need a ground upgrade & new training facilities urgently and there has been no real suggestion of this happening anytime soon. More circumstance than definition and I fear we have now overstayed our welcome at the Prem party. 4 years in the top flight for us is an amazing achievement if we go down and our real challenge will be bouncing back up again. I trust the board on that but they - like our team - have now been found out at this level too!

"marquee signings" dont work for us. lazy f***ers just here for money. need some young hungry players. give some of our youngsters a chance. cant be worse than this spineless lot.

Parish has not been very good at appointing managers apart from TP (ended in tears) and Pards (for first twelve months) and just missed that Malky Mackay too. We got promotion despite Holloway not because of him. In seven years. His/our luck is just about to run out. He's a salesman who bought a football club and doesn't really know how to run it at the top level.
