Allardyce after one of the games talked about the coaches confusing things on the touchline, then saying 'football is a simple game, you cover your deficiencies and exploit the opponents' or something along those lines. Obviously wants people who know what he wants from them.

Obviously wants people who know what he wants from them. The only coach I've seen confusing things on the touchline had grey hair and a gambling habit. However, I am not surprised. It's been clear for a time that fitness needs to improve and I don't know what has been going on instead of defensive training but it meant Benteke needing to receive smoke signals before a corner and Llorente being ushered through our penalty area preceded by flag-wavers, police escorts and a marching band.
