"Ownership of details of the Palace Holdco now up at companies house. Figures being rounded roughly show

Steve P - 18%
Steve B - 5%
Martin L - 2.5%
Jeremy H - 5%
Palace Holdco LP (a limited partnership registered in Delaware) 67.5%
Palace Parallel LLC (a company also registered in Delaware) - 1.5%
In addition both Palace Holdco and Palace Parallel have 180 preference shares each.

The relevance of Delaware is that that is where the trail ends as Delaware allows companies not to have to provide the names of any of their owners - something which makes it very popular for registering companies. Therefore there are no details as to who owns shares in either of the 2 Delaware companies. The only thing of note is that Parallel was formed only in June this year and some shares were transferred to it from Holdco - so presumably a reorganisation of the US owners. I think it is fair to call the US names the owners from now on."

Maybe Pardew really was referring to unknown small investors who don’t know anything about football!

I had no idea 75% of the club was owned by others now away from the original four. And for £50million, wasn't it?

Where's a 'not like' button when you need it?

I thought SP retained 52% of the shares.
Would be interesting to see how much the other owners received for their shares when they were sold.

Think we can have a decent guesstimate: 25% each originally and £50mill coming in. SB is down to 5% so his 20% sold would be 4/5ths of £12.5mill.

That's £10million.

SP may well be a shareholder in Palace Holdco LP?

I hope so. I too was under the impression that Parish and co were still majority shareholders.

Is this even slightly surprising? Surely it's obvious that SP is a part of the holding companies? They're based in Delaware so their share splits don't need to be disclosed.

Did people honestly think that the Americans would provide significant investment (to a level that CPFC2010 couldn't match) but not ask for a chunky size of the company in return?

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Parish decreased his shareholding to 18% on the proviso that it wasn't less than Harris and Blitzer. Unless he has bought back shares on the side or is part of that Holding Company that would still be the case.

As it stands, unless anyone knows different, we don't know who owns 33.5% of Palace but they are registered in the US; Harris and Blitzer have 36% in total and the original 4 30.5%

You'd hope so. Any idea as to why then he decreased his 25% to 18%? I am no economics guru.

Parish and others must be in Holdco or Pardew would've been sacked the morning after Southampton.

That Browett £10mil is a sh1 deal so I doubt he sold for that. I'm on phone and limited for time so maybe I haven't got that right.

The slight frustration is that we used to know exactly who owned what and now we don't. We've gone from being a club owned by four supporters to one partly (or maybe largely) owned by a mystery foreign consortium. All the time SP is CEO I doubt we have too much to worry about though.
