Ladies and Gents, the following link has our latest show, led by a 35 minute catch up with Chairman Steve Parish. Plenty of positive news and some very honest chat. I hope many of you will enjoy the chance to hear an assessment straight from the horse's mouth: [Link]

Incredible honest interview that 26,000 committed fans should here. We are blessed with a chairman who has massive integrity and is a true fan and has a good head on his shoulders. Let's properly support this upstanding individual Be loud be palace ....! Let's bring back 'The fortress' Let's make sure us 'underdogs ' are a force to be heard and respected I hope no other visiting fans can accuse Selhurst of being a 'library' like the 'skanky' Swansea fans sang and that, ladies and gents is really our collective responsibility....😎🙏™ Coyp R.i.p dear Staffie

The main thing we have to and should take from the SP interview is the confidence and positivity factor. It has to come from everybody. Players, coaches, owners, staff, fans, everyone. Usually the call on forums to sing and not berate at matches is a bit meaningless because we always do give unconditional support. There is the odd shout or grown but never what happened at half time v Swansea. We seriously need to drop what happened at half time v Swansea. I understand the 12 months of gradual decay, a repeat of solvable errors during that time and a visual lack of fight over Christmas, and I am myself guilty for half time booing. And it's because of what SP said. It's because we have something precious to lose whereas before we never had it. That produces fear and creates the negativity in us and the confidence erosion in the players. What we saw looked like a lack of care but if it is pretty much confidence then they're going to need us and we're going to need to be behind them 100% or we may as well give up now, and I'm not willing to do that. Not for anyone starting 'We're down' or 'Who do we buy for the championship' threads. No one. The last time the support went a bit dead like this was admin and Paul Hart's mammoth task with only Calvin Andrew for how many weeks it was. At that time we gave excessive encouragement to chase down a goal kick or throw in when it looked like there wasn't any hope of making it. I can't think of an equivalent because at this level they should do that but you see my point. So that's it. Anyone intent on being a boo boy needs to be hushed, instantly. Every point could be crucial and that match they're booing could be one we drop more points we could've won. Anyone who doesn't like SA, fair enough. But keep your personal and pathetic banners at home or hidden up your self satisfied &rse. Our future is more important than your attention seeking.

I know our team are playing really badly at the moment, but it is still really great to have a chairman that will interact with the fans in this way.

I was trying to get this over in the 'Time for Fans' thread. Fans should never under-estimate how much impact the psychological side of things has & we ALL need some positivity to get things turned around. Still grateful to have SP as chairman.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

I think Pardew felt pressure, belief, delusion, pride, proving his wage rise, whatever it was, he was going to bring this change in 'style.' Got his transition excuse in early saying league position would suffer. Well from what it was alarm bells were not loud enough, or certainly not loud enough after any of the defensive surrenders v the bottom of the table.
