There was soooo much negativity today.

At one point both Joel Ward and Zaha were given a bollocking from some guy in the Mian Stand. The players looked at this guy with bewilderment.

In many respect...what do they expect?

The atmosphere at the ground today was poor. The singing, the chanting the humour....going going gone!

The half time booing was just everyone feeling let down and frustrated.

Not sure what Big Sam can do, but he needs to start soon...as clearly both supported and players and not feeling the love!

But what is the benefit of such negativity?

No benefit whatsoever...but ten minutes into the game it started...

Players were being heckled all the time and was creating a bad atmosphere.

Completely correct. Self-fulfilling. So we're on a terrible run, injuries to key players, confidence shot, new manager, as a fan what do you do, try your best to support the club? No. clearly the better idea is to shout, swear, call the players c***s and suddenly pretend you know best.

I'd rather a half empty stadium of positive fans than a bunch of moody t***s that don't have a clue about football beaking off because they've got nothing interesting going on in their lives due to the fact they were born without brains.

I've got nothing against a bit of a grumble but it's gone too far, and it's been like this for a while. They can collectively do one. Fair weather helmets. Negativity never got anyone anywhere in life. Well maybe Victor Meldrew but even he isn't real.

(By the way the 'you' is not implying you are one of those fans )

You are very right I very very rarely boo the players and did not tonight as it is so obviously not going to help the team with the negative atmosphere. I would think about a third or less of the crowd booed at half time but it is still pretty loud. But everyone has their way of supporting as we will be told.

We played very poorly.
I was sat in the holmesdale lower and there were moans and groans very early on ...

.....but the boos at half-time ....the Palace fans did a brilliant team talk for Swansea.
I was embarrassed to be stuck in that crowd.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

Two guys in particular in the Main Stand letting the players have it.

One was a tall, thin guy with floppy blonde hair in an expensive suit, the other shorter , with a beard and stank of wine.

The performances tonight was Not at all good enough for where we are, this team lacks leadership .A spine of players fighting .We had this ,it's gone, fat Sam needs to instil some leadership into this team because it's shot at the moment so shows tonight.

Some dark haired geezer in whitehorse, row j or k near the exit nearest main stand was doing my nut in with his continued belowed obscenities at the team. Never heard it before like that ever, which made me think he must be a millwall supporter on a jolly. Really started to f*** me off to the point of wondering wether I'm gonna get banned for life as I tell him to f*** off out the ground. Propper brewing I was, until he suddenly upped & left with a few more youre 'total s***' palace as he made easy to exit.

5 minutes later wilf scored..

I was propper pissed off with the performance, but will never boo our own.
