Sam will do us well and soon turn things around once he sorts out the lazy players. He is not afraid to mix it either with the players verbally...He will get them motivated!
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Fully agree, we have to give him time, it took a whole year for Pardew to ruin a good team, now let Sam change the team so that they are much more secure and pro-active in defence and he sorts out the lazy players who could do so much more if they are motivated in the correct way!

At no stage under Pardew did I think we would go down. Games like Swansea at home must win i'd fancy us. Sam and his negative awful football depress me. The way he took one of the highest scoring most dangerous attacks in the league and made them sit back and let Arsenal bully them was bad enough. But when he gave up on the gane abd substituted are best players to save then for Swansea really disappointed me. Now this awful performance against Swansea. I posted on here before saying if we sack Pardew we could go down. Not looking good. Well done guys.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |

At least under Pardew we played good football, attacked and had some good performances. Now we just play s*** and dont win either.

We never played with so little thought under Pardew. We have one tactic to hoof the ball to Benteke who has no-one near him because Wilf and Townsend are being used as full backs.

I just wonder how much of his motivation towards the game has been knocked out of him by the England debacle. I also wonder that he thought this would be an easy number given the quality within the squad.

Name one Pardew game where we had zero shots on target at home in the first hour against a team in the relegation zone? I'll wait. Edited by StainesPalace (03 Jan 2017 9.17pm)

I am struggling to see how we are better now than we were a month ago. At least then we were playing the ball forward and scoring goals. We are now pedestrian no movement and struggling to get a shot on target. We are making Swansea look far far better than they really are. Going down with a wimper

The statto that love quoting 2016 stats when the season runs from August to June not Jan to December should take a look at the posession and shots on goal stats under Allardyce vs Pardew. I watched this happen with those idiotic fans at Newcastle. Got ideas above their station and drove out a manager who kept them comfortably out of the relegation zone and promptly went down. Well done guys. Edited by StainesPalace (03 Jan 2017 10.02pm)
