As much as every Palace fan would like both, there is no chance Sunderland will sell, to a perceived 'relegation rival', their two top players. We wouldnt sell them Dann and Wilf and I doubt they'd part with Kone and Defoe. Lets not forget Kone was a target for Chels in the summer, I think our targets need to be a little more realistic. It would be great if our scouting network could look abroad. Similar talent for a quarter of the price...

Kone was an Allardyce signing and he has proved terrific value at £6 Mill. Defoe was signed by Gus Poyet and he has of course been terrific for them. Moyes has said that Defoe is "Priceless" and won't be going anywhere.

I think it has been reported that Sunderland will not sell Defoe. Anyway, we surely would not pay silly money for a 34 year old.

The Sunderland chairman isn't ploughing any more money into the club so they have to sell if they want to buy. I can't see Moyes selling Defoe to anyone and if he's sold over his head I can see Moyes resigning
