The whiners who 'don't get behind our manager' (hehehe!) should have a look at this article. I'm excited. Big Sam is definitely the man for now into the near future. Look at his record against so-called 'Super-Al's'. With our ability to play expansive, attacking football, scoring at the rate of the team fifth on the ladder, is assisted by a solid defense, then we have much to look forward to. BFS is no Pulis. He can play attacking football when he has the materials. He should fix our defensive frailties, LB and MF issues (January), and I believe our fitness issues too. LONG LIVE SAM ALLARDYCE! COYP!!

Exciting times ahead for Palace with Big Sam in charge. The guy can certainly play entertaining football but will add some steel to the team. It will be interesting to see who he brings in when the transfer window opens.

Exciting and fat sam have never been mentioned by any of his past clubs fans.

You know, honestly, I really wanted Pardew to succeed. But what a prize w@nker? How he managed to get himself sacked with this squad, Parish as an owner, our supporters, a five year contract, millions to spend on players, and a great club where he could feel loved and at home... But oh no... Mr. Genius... Even with our current form how many points did he throw away, needlessly, in the final minutes because of his silliness? He's got no one to blame but himself....couldn't learn a thing from the Newcastle experience and let's face it, they were dead right about him. Now Fat Sam is laughing. And so he should laugh. Everyone and everything that mattered were completely behind Pardew...and he stuffed it up. I'm genuinely sorry he didn't have the brains to stay. What a prize tw@t.

Spot on there. This was all set up to be where Pardew proved that he was a top manager, except he went and proved what a s*** one he is. Talk about a prize tw@t! He had money to spend, some excellent players at his disposal and the backing of loyal fans and chairman and he goes and throws it all back in our faces. Baffling tactics, perplexing substitutions and all sorts of rumours about behind the scenes strife, good riddance! Now we have a proper manager who will right all Pardew's wrongs.

Parchmore I am in agreement. We had a big disagreement end of last season. Can't remember when, maybe you can. I knew Pardew would more than likely f*** it up but we had to either sack him in May or give him a quarter of this season. Some wanted to give him till Christmas so most are satisfied.

What Parish shouldn't have done is extended for 5 years. At least they acted 3 weeks ago and had this pretty much agreed so it was only a day without a manager. The negotiations were just for show.

Now all of the fans know or accept it was right apart from inapardewpickle and braunstone and about 4 other fans out of 35,000 and more.

Well said and totally agree.
Pardew was the author of his own misfortune and had no option other than to fall on his own sword.
Our new Messiah, Sam, will lead us to higher places than failure Pards could ever imagine.
