Aye, Swansea away. Burnley was a kick in the teeth but apart from the first 20 we bossed the game and felt it was right to go for the win. Some bad luck since then but Swansea was unforgiveable.

I had doubts towards the end of last season and felt he should have gone after the FA cup

End of last season I figured things weren't good. Swansea away was the final nail in the coffin for me.

Swansea, not that we lost, the fact that after saying our focus was on a clean sheet we ship 5 goals. Comical

As above (1) After the FA Cup final and (2) After Swansea. It was obvious there was something seriously wrong from last Christmas onwards and, when it continued into the new season, we should have acted decisively a lot earlier.

When Campbell replaced Mcarther at 1-1 v Man Utd. Frazer Campbell can score a late equalizer against one of his old clubs, lets try it again this time he'll get the winner. He'd run out of ideas.

Dropping Punch for the cup final - doubts.

Selling Jedi - serious doubts.

Burnley away - game over.

Same here. Burnley is always a hard place to go, and they've been getting results, against much better teams than us there.

But Swansea were s**t, barely capable of scoring, and we lost despite scoring 4 goals. In anyone's book that terrible. I thought Pardew had done a good job in sorting out the attack, but lost the balance of a team that previously could defend with ease. After that, the draw with an equally s**t Hull was the final straw.

Three games that he needed to get 7 points from, and despite netting eight times, we took a single point.

Exactly when I did too. I supported the project to change the style etc up till then and made constant excuses referring back to that. I blamed bad luck (we've had our fair share) and defending incompetence that couldn't have been his fault, then he made those changes. In fact all of the substitutions that game had an air of bizarreness to them, almost like he had a spinning wheel with player names on them and made changes accordingly. I suspect the Fryers change on the left instead of Townsend was a deliberate up yours to Townsend - yes I know Fryers "defending is better" but I've seen him play so we cant use that excuse!
