Hat trick on the cards for him in a 3-1 win. We will finally beat United tonight under the stewardship of Super Al. He has managed to get results against the big clubs before, so I have no doubt he will lead us to a positive result this evening.

Wouldn't be surprised if he did score a hat-trick. And Wilf got a couple too. Then Utd stick 6 past us.

Was frightened to run at the opposition again tonight. Guys around me were even going as far as to say that he can't play with the ball at his feet. I'm absolutely sure he was able to do this at Villa. And before I get shot down, i'm not digging him out. It's an observation and a fair one at that, on tonight's viewing.

He can play with the ball at his feet, but how many times did he actually get ball to feet today ? and when he did, what were his options ?

There was a point when we broke and we were three on two and fluffed it. He could have done a hell of a lot better there.

I think he is just lacking a bit of confidence at the moment in that area. So many of the players are scared of being on the ball due to not wanting to make an error. And the more you don't get it to feet in match conditions, the worse it gets.

Very poor last night, even in the air.

Thought he was poor last night - won very little in the air and didn't look greatly bothered - but then again so were most of the team.

Come on get real, He got no service whatsoever from anyone, He is a goalscorer and needs the ball in the right place, A lack of service meant he had to go deeper and deeper to get involved, Not what you want from a £30m striker, Yep I blame pardew again, He should be know as captain chaos
