Cometh the hour, cometh the man . . . In my view, that man is Chungy. He was warming up on the touchline throughout the match at Hull, but AP never brought him on. Bad mistake. He would have brought much-needed energy, creativity and tenacity to our play. I am confident he would have disrupted Hull's control of the game, and we would have gone to win at a canter. I would like to see him start v Man U - just the sort player to nullify the threat of their midfield stars and feed chances to our friends not-runners. He is such a versatile, intelligent player that I would even consider him as a replacement wing back in the Souare mould. Edited by merganser (12 Dec 2016 10.49pm)

Can't remember the home match he started but he was the worst player on the pitch. Lots of running but pointless as kept giving the ball away and kicking it out. Was hideous. Not the answer IMO but nor are many of pardews signings tbh!

I don't think your wishes will come true by Wednesday night even though it is pantomime season! But I am sure he will have a starring role on Jan 7th as Wishy Washy in the FA cup game at Bolton.

Blimey, when did he change from a Championship standard, lightweight fringe player then?
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I'd like to see him given a shot on the left wing. If Andros is dragging his feet I think Lee could surprise us. Really want to see him kick on this year with some game time. Think he's better than some think.

I'm dubious, he's had a couple of games when he's looked on, otherwise he's been invisible. But since Townsend's been invisible too, I'd give Chungy a start and let our England International stew on the bench. Maybe it will motivate him. His stepovers may be more effective on Manu if Chungy tires them out in the first half. But what else can Pards do. Start Mutch? Sigh.

Glad to see him start. He played well and was always in the thick of the action. Also impressed with Ward, Kelly and Hennessy. Edited by merganser (14 Dec 2016 11.31pm) Edited by merganser (15 Dec 2016 9.27am)
