Nicking a draw in the last minute, away from home, was a good thing?

True . A very valid observation. Not only did we nick a point, but we deprived our opponents of two.

Certainly a relief at the end of the game and of course one is delighted that your team hasn't been defeated.

However in situations whereby you really believe that your team should be picking up ALL the points, then in the "Cold light of day" a single point seems a bit of a let-down.

Had a moment of optimism. 10 goals in the last 3 games , Man Utd and Chelsea at home next. People talk about the 'Palace rollercoaster ' , think I'll enjoy the fun bit, will be queueing up again soon.

Rare optimism on HOL !

Indeed and stirring fightbacks against Sunderland,Burnley, Swansea and Hull, albeit we only won 1 of those games.
Furthermore after 6 straight defeats we have gone 2 games undefeated.

The problem is we are not beating teams that we should be beating. It therefore puts pressure on us to gain points against the bigger sides, which at the moment we look incapable of doing. I suppose after Saturday we will know a lot more.

I still enjoyed it and was there after travelling from 6.30am.

Hull fans are alright, so the result was easier to stomach.

You are not engaging into the spirit really. Take Casual's attitude and enjoy us scoring goals for the first time in years.

There are NO teams in this league that we SHOULD be beating by the way.

I often like your posts and I particularly like this one.

It's easy to lose perspective sometimes.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Very true. Hull aren't complete mugs on the field. Even that cheating scum had to be quick witted enough to realise he should try it on for the penalty.

That was ok a few years ago when there were less cheats around and the game was a bit slower.

I bet none of Saturdays match officials drove themselves to Hull using the motorway system as them roads are far to busy, things happen so fast and make it really difficult to judge whats going on in real time!

There are Tim and that was one of them on Saturday. This team is hugely under achieving.
