I know this sounds ridiculous, but could there be something in Pardews contract that means sacking him would be too costly? Something behind scenes that we don't know about and it is kept private?

I just don't understand why the board haven't got rid of him after 6 wins in 33 games?

Just a thought

Not sure about sacking him being costly but dropping out of the. Prem will be very costly!

Pardew must have something on Parish but I can't think what.

Maybe after matches ona Saturday Parish becomes Stephanie and frequents those kind of clubs and only Pardew has caught him finishing off his make up.

Come on Steve. Do what you know is right. We care more about the club than does your bum look big in your last purchase from Dorothy Perkins. Tootsie is a great film.

When we very likely lose to an in form Watford away on Boxing Day, we will end the year with 6 wins in 36 games, following defeats against Man U and Chelsea.

I note from Pardews after match comments,he thought it was a great game! Can I say from a Palace supporters view it was nearly another shocker, and that is NOT what we enjoy, neutrals might,I dont and I am sure that goes for the silent majority of Palace fans who are cheesed of with his smug interviews!!!

I agree. A great game is when Palace win. Entertaining the neutrals is for other teams thank you.

I can't see us getting anything from our next 4 games so I hope he's gone by the new year. Need to get someone else in for the January window.

Big sam will do.

I fear it could already be to late for us, we need to ship AP out asap. I never thought I would say this but we have to change something very quickly. We are not even beating the teams around us so I just cannot see any light, even after the Southampton game.

It is a strange one.
6 wins in a year and his job is safe.
Nowhere in any other profession would this lack of success be rewarded.
He should have been dumped last season and certainly by now.
We will now go and beat Man Utd and his job will be safe for ever!

It worked ok for Alex Fergusson when ManU beat us in the Cup Final in 1990 - and look how he turned out....

True - but I think Man Utd were at least winning games on a regular basis at the time.
