I'm trying to be positive

I don't know whether Palace should sack Pardew or not. I'm not really qualified to sit in judgement. I managed a Sunday league team once and I managed not to get sacked as nobody wanted the job.

As for Pardew: is there an alternative to sacking?

Couldn't they bring in someone to do the bits he's not good at?

Like a defensive specialist.
And a tactics guru

Pardew can stick to man management, taking training and press conferences.

Substitution decisions could be crowdsourced by text vote (£1 a text). If the substitutions are good, one lucky winner wins all the money

Does that make sense?

Maybe they should play the Benny Hill music on the Tanoy that would make it entertaining.

Makes sense on paper but will AP accept this ? Possibly his post match conferences are just a front but in that case why hasn't what you say been tried before ? If it has it is clearly not working. If not the question remains why are we talking about this now ?

Yesterday wasn't entertaining in the slightest. Only two decent goals were scored and the only half-decent football was in the first half when Swansea played triangles round Kelly.

We have scored 9 goals in 5 games yet not managed a single point. If that's entertaining then I give up. My mood will be entertained when we finally win a match.

Entertaining for neutrals - problem for me is, I'm not neutral.

Exactly. Shirk having to sack him.

This is truly pathetic. Get him out while we can still keep ourselves in this league to reach our potential we've been wishing for 40 years. The cost of paying him off and hurting his arrogant persona is pennies compared to the years of damage its going to cause keeping this charlatan's approach to football.

One dimensional attack attack attack gets you promoted a la Holloway but gets you relegated from the prem.
