Took over reading in the summer, totally changed the way they play to a much more possession type of game. Won their last 4 league games without conceding a goal.....just saying.

This. A manager with little experience has brought his own staff with him, and instilled a way of playing, very much like AP wants to play, but with much more success.

Cardiff went for the big name young manager from Man Utd, but the Premier League isn't the championship.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he wouldn't be the best manager we've ever had, but he could be this seasons Remy Garde.
It's a massive risk whatever we do.

It's always a risk changing a manager.but if and when we do, there's few with premiership experience we're likely to get, so someone like stam could be more likely. Watching him being interviewed last night he scares the life out of me, wouldn't want to upset him. Patrick viera is another one who's doing really well, even though it's only in America can't help feeling he's going to make a great manager.

Your talking about a league that has no Pro/Rel so in affect you have no danger of getting the sack as a manager. Also as well as having a team including Pirlo, Lampard & David Villa they still managed to get beaten in the MLS Play offs (Thrashed in the 2nd Leg)

Pro USA & Israel

The fact he got them to the play offs in his first season after they finished with thd second lowest number of points in the league the season before means nothing?

Managing in a mickey mouse league in the USA doesn't compare with the Premiership, its full of old players on a last payday.
Don't start bigging up Stam either, managing Reading in the Championship is not the same as the Premier, very few managers can step up a level. Mainly because there not given time, the turnover of managers is crazy.

Ok let's play safe and stick with Pardew then.

That's the best post you've ever typed.
