This was the line all the Palace fans used when they mocked Newcastle after Pardew left and had his usual hot streak upon first joining a club. The comparison and replacement to Pardew was John Carver. As "Super Alan Pardew" rang out through Selhurst after a couple of good wins and "Stupid, deluded geordies - their loss is our gain" was used as the stick to beat Newcastle fans and mock us for daring to openly protest to force out the media darling who is nothing more than a fraud who would never have a job in the Premier League right now, had he not owed a ton of money to the ex-chairman of Newcastle United in casino debt. Do you see him being criticised by Sky/BBC, despite his absolutely appalling record in which even Newcastle have more Premier League points than you in 2016? No, he still gets away with it and after his classic 'few wins on the spin' he's lauded as a genius and touted for the England job. It's beyond belief, but of course we have to big up English managers despite their apparent s***ness. Anyway I had to laugh at his latest excuse for losing as obviously it's never down to his own personal failings, and his reason for losing was his teams willingness to try and ride the wave of momentum and overturn a 2 goal deficit into a valuable 3 points. Super Alan Pardew then accuses them of 'getting over excited', at least this time he didn't accuse the fans of being the reason for defeat, as he did when you held us to a 3-3 draw at St James' in the 14/15 season. [Link] After a 1-1 draw with Spurs Anyway, you can get the rest here. You might want to look into buying this domain yourselves. If you think you can't go down because of the players you have, Pardew only just avoided relegation by the skin of his teeth with Newcastle with Coloccini, Cabaye, Tiote, Cisse, Ba & Ben Arfa playing at the peak of their abilities, so if you keep him long enough you don't have a chance. It works well for me as I have money riding on it. Anyway, enjoy the 'transition period'. Or whatever the next li(n)e is.

Don't know about 'stupid, deluded geordies', but I reckon 'psychotic, bunny-boiling, stalking geordies' would be pretty close.

Stupid Deluded Geordies has always been the case, before, during and after Pardew. Undoubtedly you'll win The Championship this season and then be expecting a top 4 finish next season. Deluded.

I do believe that you got relegated after sacking Pardew, while we survived. I think we made a good decision. Congrats on your current winning run, by the way - I don't suppose you'll go back to booing your team after the next defeat like in that 2-0 loss to Wolves? Awful, deluded, self-entitled.

Everything the geordies said would happen has happened and anyone who can't see that is living in a dream world. If Pardew stays we will get relegated, but fortunately for us we have a very strong chairman who won't allow that to happen.

Palace have a team which appears to care about each other and who have been unlucky in a number of games this season. Newcastle became a bunch of spoiled mercenaries who played like they didn't care. If we were playing like that then I'd be worried, but we're not. In nearly every game this season we've looked like we might get something. Even against Liverpool we were only a couple of bad penalty decisions away from a point. If we'd snatched a win yesterday everyone would have been talking about what a great, spirited performance it was but we got carried away chasing three points. We're not beyond being relegated, but I think a couple of signings in January and we can push on and get a solid mid-table finish

The Geordies' obsession with Pardew is just weird. I bet you the next club that hires Pardew will have its forums awash with them, screaming hysterically again.
