Should of saved the second but redeemed himself with a superb save second half.

Kelly - 5
Poor again from Kelly, offered nothing going forward and suspect defensively. Rightly hauled off.

Dann - 6
Made one superb block 1st half to deny a strike at goal. Still looks a yard off the pace after injury.

Delaney - 6
Average display from Damo, looking like time is finally catching up with him.

Ward - 6
Much better when switched to right back, offered much more of a threat than Kelly in an attacking sense.

Cabaye - 7.5
Would have gave him an 8 but his set pieces were terrible. Put in a good shift, passing was superb. Unlucky with a 25 yarder.

Puncheon - 6
His set pieces were also terrible which contributed to burnleys first goal. Quiet and ineffective.

Zaha -8.5
MOM for me, was a constant threat and continuously skinned the full backs. Great assist for 1st goal. Finally adding end product.

Townsend - 6
Good in spells but very wasteful in possession. Came to life last ten, assist for penalty and almost levelled at the end, striking the post.

Benteke - 7
Cool penalty and held the ball up well. Was unlucky on a few occasions when ball just wouldn't drop for him in the box.

Subs
Wickham - 7
Cracking finish and linked play up well when he came on.

Fryers - 6
Did okay but just not premier league standard.

Ledley - 5
Not on long enough to affect game.

All in all a very poor defensive display, but looked dangerous going forward second half and did not deserve to lose. Pards needs to address this asap to stop the rot.

Second half we were superb. Harshest defeat I've seen since we came back up. A draw would of been unfair on us, so a defeat is devastating.

Sorry not good enough, we conceded 3 goals today and lost, 4 at home last week, 3 at Leicester. We HAVE to stop shipping goals and AP doesn't know how; the buck stops with him, this is what he is paid for!

Mandanda 4 Awful kicking nearly cost us another goal in the first half when kicked it straight to Burnley player, should have saved the second and was out of position for the third.

Ward 4 nowhere to be seen going forward or in defence. Tried to beat one of their wingers for pace on a few occasions and was never going to happen

Dann 5 looks lost at the moment I don't know whether giving him the armband has made him lose track of his own game

Delaney 5 works hard but fed up with him lumping it forward all the time

Kelly 2 awful performance defensively and going forward a bit like ward but worse

Zaha 7 would have got a higher score if not been partly to blame for burnleys first goal. One of our only players who looked like causing problems from the midfield.

Puncheon 6 didn't do much wrong but didn't create enough. Is will say his passing seems to have improved a lot this season.

Cabaye 6 put in a few tackles had a couple of shots nothing amazing but nothing terrible.

MacArthur 5 unusual poor passing from him today lost the ball on a couple of occasions which put us on the back foot.

Townsend 6 A few sparkles of class started really brightly then became very frustrating to watch then won the penalty from his cross and unlucky not to score in dying seconds.

Benteke 7 held up play well good header in second half forced a deflection which took it wide which ref didn't see and gave a goal kick. Great penalty!

Wickham 7 great finish looked like he had a point to prove I still really like him and don't forget he is still only 23 got a lot to learn and I still think has bags of potential.

Fryers 6 again looked ok when came in definite starter in front of Kelly now

Ledley 4 didn't do anything

Overall terrible defensive display and on that basis deserved to lose

How you give Puncheon a 6 and Cabaye a 7.5 is beyond me. Cabaye was solid at best, good movement and mopped up well, but constantly wasted Hollywood passes, got in a muddle for the opener and dragged that 25 yarder way wide when he should have done better. Puncheon made things happen and influenced the game, dominating the midfield and picking people out in dangerous positions. The rest I kinda agree with though.

I just thought punch looked slightly off the pace after his injury. Apart from a few Hollywood passes that got cut out Cabaye was slick and tidy in possession.
